Hi, I’m Sheyenne
I am a creative and dynamic professional in search of my career path. From an early age, I recognized that I had an equal passion for numbers and structure as I did for art and creative expression. I carried those skills into my professional life, earning my Associates Degree in Business, my Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts, and my MBA with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship.
I’ve been lucky to have a diverse work history, gaining experience in industries ranging from construction management, to warehouse operations, and even food and beverage. These opportunities strengthened my ability to be adaptable while supplying me with knowledge and skills that surpass individual industries. Now that I’ve reinforced my personal tool kit with my Master’s Degree, I am eager to put my skills and experience to the test.
My Specialties
Creativity
I’ve spent my entire life creating and crafting. I earned my BA in Graphic Design, and proudly owned and operated my own art business for 6 years. When I’m not working, I’m typically obsessing over my latest craft hobby. I enjoy getting to put my creative talents to use in the office, even in unconventional ways Whether it’s looking at a problem from a new angle, or adding a splash of color and personality to the project, I’ll be ready with my best ideas in tow.
Adaptability
I have worked in a wide variety of industries, ranging from food and beverage, event management, retail, and construction management, to name a few. Throughout my career, I’ve prioritized building on skills that can be used in any industry or role. I pride myself on embracing change, taking risks, and learning how to spot problems before they happen. I’m a “go-with-the-flow” kind of gal, but I am equally tenacious and devoted when it’s “go-time.”
Empathy
As a queer female professional, I know a little bit about what it means to feel marginalized in the workplace. I’ve turned my own negative experiences into a dedication to be a kind and empathetic teammate. I make it my daily mission to ensure that my peers feel heard and understood, even when there are disagreements. I am constantly working to reduce my own biases and learn about the experiences and perspectives of others.
